The oceans and seas of the world are at a crucial crossroads in their history. The pace of change, driven by the globalization of the world economy, continues to accelerate, particularly in key regions of oceanic value. At the same time, issues concerning coastal administration and management are becoming increasingly widespread and complex. This volume offers an in-depth investigation into ocean conflict, governance, and strategy from an interdisciplinary perspective, involving the vast range of interactions between oceans and seas. Iram Naseer Ahmad
Iram Naseer Ahmad (PhD) is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History & Pakistani-Studies at Forman Christian College University (FCCU). She has earned a PhD from the University of the Punjab. During her doctoral studies, she won an IRSIP Exchange Scholarship for a semester at Arizona State University and attended the Winter Camp at Nanjing University, China. She is a Research Associate at Oxford Research House, United Kingdom and an Associate Fellow at Royal Historical Society (RHS) linked with UCL, University College London. She has won several awards like World Scholar Award World History Commons honorarium, Volkswagen Foundation Award, Alliance for Learning in World History Award. Besides, she published articles in various peer-reviewed journals, and contributed chapters in the books Uguaglianza e disuguaglianza nel mondo globale (1950-2020), and Identità e società nel mondo globale, both published by tab edizioni in the Zenit series. She has also contributed a chapter in the book South Asia, State, Society, Politics published by Nobels, Turkey.
